titleOfInvention | Photoinitiator paste |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a photoinitiator paste suitable for the production of an UV-curable ink for printed wiring boards, by dispersing fine photoinitiator particles in a radical polymerizable monomer or oligomer at a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:80-10pts.wt. particulate photoinitiator (e.g., 2-ethylanthraquinone) is dissolved, by heating, in 20-90pts.wt. radical-polymerizable monomer or oligomer (e.g., trimethylolpropane triacrylate). The purpose photoinitiator paste is obtained by cooling this mixture by agitating vigorously so as not to form photoinitiator particles larger than 10mum. By using this photoinitiator paste, it is possible to produce an ink well adopted to silk screen printing, etc., by using a common disperser of a high productivity instead of a three-roll mill in producing an UV-curable solder-resist ink. |
