titleOfInvention Cast molded resin sliding material
abstract PURPOSE:A cast molded resin sliding material, obtained by blending tetrafluoroethylene particles in a resin material having fluidity and adhesive force to a base material, having both low static and dynamic coefficients of friction without causing stick slip. CONSTITUTION:A cast molded resin sliding material obtained by filling 5-60wt% tetrafluoroethylene particles in a resin material, e.g. epoxy based or acrylic material, etc., having fluidity and adhesive force to a base material. For example, an opposite sliding material or sliding surface forming jig 2 is mounted on a base material 1 to give a fine gap 6 nipping a cast resin flow preventive jigs 3 and 3' and a mold releasing agent is applied to surfaces (2a), (3a) and (3a') of each jig. The above-mentioned resin sliding material is cast from a hole 4 perforated in the jig 2 to fill in the gap 6 and air is taken out of a hole 5. The whole assembly is kept in the state or heated for a given time to cure the resin. The jigs 2, 3 and 3' are then removed to form a resin layer on the surface (1a) of the base material 1 to produce the aimed sliding material.
