abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled copolymer having characteristic of both a liquid rubber based compound and a polyester based polymer, by reacting an active hydrogen group-containing liquid rubber based compound with an organic dicarboxylic acid anhydride and 1,2-epoxide. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A liquid rubber based compound containing active hydrogen group in the molecule, preferably polybutadiene based compound is reacted with (B) an organic dicarboxylic acid anhydride, e.g. succinic anhydride, etc., and (C) a 1,2-epoxide, e.g. ethylene oxide, etc., in the presence of a catalyst, preferably lithium halide or 1W4C tetraalkyl quaternary ammonium salt to afford the aimed copolymer. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
