titleOfInvention Generating method for alkali
abstract PURPOSE: To stably and safely generate an alkali instantaneously from a neutral compd. by bringing a specific complexing agent and specific metallic compd. hardly soluble in water into reaction in the presence of water. n CONSTITUTION: The alkali is generated by bringing the complexing agent expressed by formula (I) and the metallic compd. which is expressed by formula (II) and is hardly soluble in water into reaction in the presence of water. In formula (I), D - denotes -CO 2 - , etc., B + denotes an alkali metal ion, etc., (k) denotes 1 or 2, E denotes -S-, etc., Z denotes an atomic group, etc. In formula (II), M denotes a metal except alkali metals, Y denotes an oxide ion, etc., and (m) respectively denote such an integer at which the respective atomic valencies of M and Y maintain an equil. The complexing agent expressed by formula (III) is more particularly preferable among the complexing agents expressed by formula (I). The embodiment of the metallic compd. which is expressed by formula (II) and is hardly soluble in water includes CaCO 3 , ZnO, Zn(OH) 2 , etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
