PURPOSE:To provide a stable W/O-type emulsified cosmetic giving excellent feeling to the skin and having improved emulsion stability of an oily phase containing large amount to a silicone oil, by using an oleophilic nonionic surfactant and an aqueous phase containing a specific amount of a mono- or polysaccharide sulfate. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic is composed of (A) an oily phase containing >=30% silicone oil (based on the oily phase) having a volatile silicone oil content of preferably >=50%, (B) an aqueous phase containing >=0.1% one or more kinds of mono- or polysaccharide sulfates (based on the aqueous phase components) and (C) one or more oleophilic nonionic surfactants selected from sorbitan- or glyceryl-diidostearate or dioleate and the compounds of formulas I-III (R is CH3, a part of R is phenyl; R' is H or 1-12C alkyl; p is 1-5; q is 2 or 3; x, m and n are numbers to give a molecule having alkylene group content of 5-40wt% and a molecule weight of >=2,000 on an average). The weight ratio of A:B is 2:1-1:5 and the content of the component C in the whole composition is >=1wt%. |
