titleOfInvention | Manufacture of foam molded body covered by air-permeable skin material |
abstract | PURPOSE:To manufacture a foam molded body covered by air-permeable skin material by a method wherein the unexpanded stock solution of synthetic foaming resin is poured in the interior of a formed sheet and expanded therein in order to make a skin material, a synthetic resin film and the synthetic forming resin into an integral body. CONSTITUTION:First, a sheet 6 is formed under the state being brought into close contact with the inner surface of the cavity 1a of a vacuum mold 1 by evacuating air through vent holes 2. Secondly, after a hold-down frame 3 is removed, a predetermined amount of unexpanded stock solution 7 of foaming polyurethane or the like is poured in the interior of the formed sheet 6 in the vacuum mold 1 so as to expand the solution under the state that the opening face is blocked by a top cover 8. After that, by removing from the mold, a foam molded body 9 covered by the sheet 6 which is under tension is obtained. During the above-mentioned process, at the stage, in which the unexpanded stock solution 7 expands, the foaming urethane or the like oozes out of fine pores provided on a film 5, resulting in joining a skin material 4 to the film 5. |
