titleOfInvention Production of l-amino acid or 5'-inosinic acid by fermentation method
abstract PURPOSE: To produce the titled substance at a low cost, by cultivating a microorganism capable of producing an L-aimino acid or 5'-inosinic acid in a culture medium containing one or more of N-methylglycine, N-N-dimethylglycine, N-N- N-trimethylglycine, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A well-known microorganism capable of producing an L-amino acid or 5'-inosinic acid is cultivated in a conventionally used culture medium for producing the L-amino acid or production culture medium suitable for fermenting 5'-inosinic acid. In the process, one or more substances selected from N-methyglycine, N-N-dimethylglycine, N-N-N-trimethylglycine and [2- hydroxyethyl]trimethylammonium are added to the culture medium to give 0.01W5% concentration. The cultivation is carried out under aerobic condition at 20W40°C and isolation of the amino acid from the fermentation liquor is performed by a well-known method, e.g. ion exchange treating method, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
