titleOfInvention Production of feed for cultured fish
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled water-soluble and readily digestible and absorbable feed rich in nutriments and prevent occurrence of diseases caused by feed, by dehydrating an animal raw material, e.g. fish leftovers, etc., and vegetable raw material, e.g. bean-curd refuse, etc., while heating in an oil, mixing both and fermenting the resultant mixture with KOJI mold, etc. n CONSTITUTION: An animal raw material, e.g. fish leftovers, etc., and a vegetable raw material, e.g. bean-curd refuse, etc., are dehydrated while heating in an oil at about ≥60°C and the resultant respective dehydrated raw materials are deoiled and mixed. The mixed raw material is then fermented with KOJI mold, etc., to remove bad smell and impart water solubility and ready digestibility and absorbability to the mixed raw material. The dehydration and sterilization while heating are simultaneously carried out by the dehydration while heating in the oil in a cooker in a reduced pressure state to make the surface of the raw material sparingly soluble without eluting nutriments. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
