PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic capable of preventing hair damage and providing hair with pliability, etc., without spoiling characteristic functions of hair cosmetic, containing both a quaternary trimethylammonium derived silk polypeptide and a cationic polymer. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic such as shampoo, rinse, permanent wave agent, etc., is blended with (A) 0.1-10wt% compound shown by the formula (R is side chain of amino acid constituting polypeptide derived from silk protein; n is 3-20) and (B) 0.1-5wt% cationic polymer such as polymer of diallyl quaternary ammonium salt, cationic cellulose, cationic starch or cationic vinyl polymer to give the cosmetic which prevents damage of hair, well exhibits characteristic functions of the cosmetic and provides hair with pliability, combing properties, a swelling feeling and color and luster. |
