titleOfInvention Vacuum molding
abstract PURPOSE:To secure an operation stabilized for a long period of time and reduce the consumption of a resin or the like by a method wherein filling material is thrown previously into cavities in a vessel accommodating a component and, thereafter, the resin or the like is poured under a vacuum condition. CONSTITUTION:A transformer 3 is fixed in a vessel 2 in a liquid pouring tank 1 and silica sand 4 is thrown into the internal cavities of the vessel 2 to fill up to respective corners thereof. When the throwing of the sand 4 is finished, the liquid pouring tank 1 is evacuated and deaerated resin 16 is poured to the upper rim of the vessel 2. The liquid resin permeates through the silica sand 4 by the aid of the vibration of a vibrator 10 and a liquid pouring valve 8 is closed once under a condition that the upper part of the transformer 3 is sunk into the resin 16. Here, atmosphere is permitted to enter into the tank 1, the resin 16 enters further into the coil of the transformer 3 and inner spaces between the silica sand 4, then, the resin 16 is added and the liquid pouring valve 8 is closed when a pressure in the tank has returned to the atmospheric pressure, thereafter, the transformer 3 is taken out of the liquid pouring tank 1. According to this method, the silica sand, having a large grain size, is can be used to reduce the consumption of the resin while only the resin passes through pipes, valves or he like, therefore, troubles such as abrasion, settling or the like may be eliminated.
