titleOfInvention Amide derivative and antiallergic containing the same
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [R 1 is 2W10C straight-chain or brached-chain alkyl, formula II (n is 1W5)]. n EXAMPLE: N-[5-(4-Butyloxyphenyl)-2,4-pentadienoyl]anthranilic acid. n USE: Antiallergic. It has excellent action to inhibit allergen factors such as leukotriene. n PREPARATION: The reaction of a carboxylic acid derivative of formula III with an alkyl halide is followed by alkaline hydrolysis to give a carboxylic acid derivative of formula IV (R 1 is 2W10C straight or branched-chain alkyl). The product is subjected to condensation reaction with methyl anthranilate and to deprotection to give the objective compound of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
