abstract PURPOSE: To make the use of a dryer unnecessary and to make it possible to omit wasteful labor and wasteful consumption of power energy, by opening a nitrogen gas pipe toward an interface board equipped with an IC socket between a test head and a low temp. tank. n CONSTITUTION: A pipe 7a is branched on the way of a nitrogen gas pipe 7, which is connected to the nitrogen gas injection port to a low temp. tank 6, provided to an interface mount part 3 and opened toward the part of the IC socket pin P of the IC socket mounted in the vicinity of the center of an interface board 2. The low temp. of the cooling gas formed in the low temp. tank 6 is conducted to the contact pin of a contactor 4 and the IC socket pin P in the side of a test head 1 on the interface board 2 connected to said pin P and frost is ready to grow on the part of the pin P by the temp. difference between said low temp. and room temp. but, because low temp. nitrogen gas is injected to said part from the branch pipe 7a, temp. difference is relaxed to suppress the generation of frost and formed frost is also scattered by the injected nitrogen gas. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
