titleOfInvention Alpha-(perfluoroalkylalkyl) malonic acid diester
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R is lower alkyl; n is 1W15; m is 1 or 2). n EXAMPLE: α-(Perfluorooctylethyl) malonic acid ethyl ester. n USE: Useful as an intermediate for introducing a fluorocarbon chain to a macrocyclic polyamine which is watched as a functional molecule. The synthesized macrocyclic polyamine is compounded into a porous membrane, which is useful as an ion transporting membrane. The macrocyclic polyamine has improved affinity for a fluoropolymer and dispersibility, therefore it is blended with a fluoropolymer having bioavailability and is useful for decomposing carcinogenic hydrogen peroxides in organisms and as a phenol oxidizing catalyst, etc. n PREPARATION: A perfluoroalkyl alcohol shown by formula II is reacted with iodine in the presence of a catalyst such as phosphorus, etc., and the reaction product is reacted with malonic acid diethyl ester, etc., to give a compound shown by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
