titleOfInvention Content rate measuring apparatus for various objects to be measured
abstract PURPOSE: To measure the content rate of conductive or dielectric object to be measured passed or held into an insulation tube, by arranging a detection coil with a high frequency voltmeter or the like connected thereto and a primary electrode with a high frequency oscillator connected thereto sandwitching the detection coil on an insulation tube. n CONSTITUTION: A detection coil 3 which is connected to a high frequency voltme ter 2 or the like to detect a voltage is set on an insulation tube 1 with the minimum dielectric constant and a very low high frequency loss, where a reso nance circuit is formed. Primary electrodes 5 and 5 are arranged on both sides of the coil 3 as connected to a proper oscillator such as a high frequency oscilla tor 4 or the like sandwitching them. When an object to be measured in the insulation tube 1 is electroconductive, the loss of energy to be fed from the oscillator 4 varies with an overall conductivity to change reading of the voltme ter 2 during at the resonance. When it is dielectric, increase in the energy to be fed from the oscillator 4 varies with the overall dielectric constant to change reading of the voltmeter 2 during the resonance. Thus, the content rate of an object to be measured can be measured ranging from high to low density. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
