PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of an aqueous solution of polyvinyl pyrrolidone polymer and to stabilize it, by blending the aqueous solution with a specific amount of a specified compound. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. polyvinyl pyrrolidone polymer (e.g., polyvinyl pyrrolidone homopolymer or copolymer comprising ≥50mol% vinyl pyrrolidone and ≤50mol% other vinyl monomers) is blended with 0.01W0.5pt.wt. preferably 0.02W0.4pt.wt. compound shown by formula (A is H or methyl; B is H or 1W4C alkyl), (e.g., hydroquinone or hydroquinoline). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
