abstract PURPOSE:To offer a manufacturing method for causing no leakage of fluid raw material from between the base and the skin material by compressively adhering the protruding stripes provided on the base surface and the inner face of skin material as sealing between the base and the skin material at around the opening section or at the edge. CONSTITUTION:With a molding tool 30 open, the skin material 22 and the base 24 are set on the molding surface of molding tool 30 in such a way that the protruding stripes 26 and 28 of base material facing to the inner face of skin material 22. Fluid raw material 32 such as urethane foam and the like is injected into the inner face of skin material 22, and the mold 30 is closed. By closing the said mold, the tips of protruding stripes 26 and 28 are compressively adhered to the inner face of skin material 22 and sealing is carried out. When an injected fluid raw material 32 foams and increases the volume between the skin material 22 and the base 24, the fluid raw material 32 fills the area between the skin material 22 and the base 24 without leakage, and forms up a cushioning material integrally with the skin material 22 and the base 24.
