titleOfInvention Production of addition type imide resin prepolymer powder
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain in high efficienty the titled powder useful for molding compounds, adhesives, etc. without impairing such properties as adhesivity, by suspension of an addition type imide resin prepolymer solution of specified concentration into water adjusted to weak acidity-neutrality followed by filtration and drying. n CONSTITUTION: A solution of addition type imide resin prepolymer prepared by reaction, normally between an unsaturated bisimide (e.g. maleic acid N,N '-4,4'-diphenylmethane-bis-imide) and diamine (e.g. 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane) is regulated to 55W70vol% in the solid concentration followed by suspension of the resulting solution into wafer adjusted to weak acidity-neutrality (normally pH5.0W7.0) and filtration and drying of the finally-powdered polymer separated out, thus obtaining the objective powder. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
