abstract PURPOSE: A stabilizing solution, obtained by dissolving a copolymer consisting of aminoalkyl (methacrylate) units and ethylenically unsaturated monomer units in a mixed solvent containing a ketonic solvent in a specific proportion and having improved storage stability. n CONSTITUTION: A stabilizing solution obtained by removing a solvent from a solution prepared by polymerizing, e.g. (meth)acrylate units and ethylenically unsaturated monomer units in the presence of an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, alcoholic solvent or ester based solvent using a radical polymerization initiator, e.g. azobis based or peroxide based initiator, and reacting the resultant polymer with an alkyleneimine, etc., and containing a copolymer constituted of the aminoalkyl (meth)acrylate units and ethylenically unsaturated monomer units after completing reaction while heating under reduced pressure and adding 20W80wt%, based on the total amount of the solvent, ketonic solvent, preferably methyl isobutyl ketone or methyl ethyl ketone to the solution. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
