titleOfInvention Room temperature-curable silicone rubber composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composition of high oil resistance, thus suitable for sealing materials for automobile FIPG use, by incorporating a known room temperature-curable silicone rubber composition with specified amount of an alkali metal salt of specific acid dissociation constant. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a diorganopolysiloxane with the molecular end hindered by hydroxyl group of formula (R 1 and R 2 are each alkyl, cyclo alkyl, etc.; n≥5) with (B) 1W25pts.wt. of either organosilane or siloxane carrying in one molecule at least two hydrolyzable groups (e.g. methoxy, ethoxy) bonded to silicon atom (e.g., methyl trimethoxysilane) and (C) 0.1W50 (pref. 0.5W10)pts.wt. of a weak acid alkali metal salt with an acid dissociation constant pka 2W12 (e.g., potassium acetate). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
