abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of skew and the color shift of color recording at the times of the feed-in and pull-back of recording paper, by preparing a pressure contact member from a non-rotational elastomer and forming the contact surface thereof with a platen from a material having friction coefficient lower than that of the surface of the platen. n CONSTITUTION: A pressure contact member 19 is constituted, for example, by covering an elastomer 35 with a slip material 36 and mounted to a lever member 37. The elastomer 35 functions so as to uniformly press the slip material to a platen 18 without irregularity and, as the material quality thereof, foamed rubber or foamed urethane resin having large restoring force is used and, as the slip material 36, a material having friction coefficient lower than that of the surface of the platen 18, for example, a thin metal plate such as a stainless steel plate having flexibility or a fluorocarbon resin film is suitable. The pressure contact member 19 itself does not rotate. Because recording paper is held between the platen 18 and the pressure contact member 19 at the time of color recording, the generation of skew due to the widening of a nip width is prevented and color shift is eliminated. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
