titleOfInvention Multilayered analytical element for analyzing cholesterol
abstract PURPOSE: To enhance storage stability, by constituting a color-forming reagent composition of the combination of at least one compound selected from 4- aminoantipyrine and an 4-aminoantipyrine derivative and 2-hydroxy-3,5- dichlorobenzenesulfonic acid. n CONSTITUTION: A multilayered analytical element for analyzing cholesterol is formed by laminating at least a light-permeable and water-impermeable support, one or more of a hydrophilic layer and a developing layer and contains enzymes, that is, cholesterol esterase, cholesterol oxidase and peroxidase and a color-forming reagent composition. The color-forming reagent composition comprises the combination of at least one compound selected from 4- aminoantipyrine and a 4-aminoantipyrine derivative and 2-hydroxy-3,5- dischlorobenzenesulfonic acid. Further, the pH value of the color-forming reaction advance layer of the composition is held to 7.5W9.0 at the time of analytical operation. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
