abstract NEW MATERIAL:A 7-deazapurine derivative expressed by formula I (n is an integer 1W7). n EXAMPLE: 2-Amino-5-[(3S,4R,5S)-4,5-dihydroxycyclopent-1-en-3-ylaminomethyl]-7- (5-carboxypentyl)pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-one.di-hydrochloride. n USE: A reagent for condensing with a protein for a carrier and bringing the resultant complex into contact with warm-blooded animals other than humans to produce an antibody reactive with Q bases. The above-mentioned antibody is useful for research of cancer mechanism and as a diagnostic agent for cancer. n PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula II (R 1 WR 3 are protecting group) is condensed with a compound expressed by formula III (X is a group eliminative in condensation reaction; R 4 is H, alkyl or aralkyl) and the resultant condensate is subjected to protecting group eliminating reaction to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
