titleOfInvention Additive for water-slurried coal
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled additive having excellent fluidity and stability, which comprises an adduct of an alkylene oxide with a formalin condensate of a phenol and a polymerization (polycondensation) product of a sulfonate of (di)cyclopentadiene. n CONSTITUTION: Ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide are added to a condensate having an average degree of condensation of 1.2W10 which has been obtd. by condensing a phenol with formalin in an amt. of 10mol or more of the oxide per hydroxyl group of the phenol, thereby obtaining an alkylene oxide adduct (A) having an average MW of 2,000W50,000. 5W95wt% component A is mixed with 95W5wt% polycondensate of a sulfonate of (di)cyclopentadiene (B) having an average MW of 500W50,000 to obtain an additive for water-surried coal. To the water-slurried coal are added the additive in an amt. of 0.1W1.0wt% (based on coal) and, if necessary, a protective colloid agent, a fluidity modifier, a preservative, a defoaming agent, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
