titleOfInvention | Production of deodorizing calcium carbonate |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce deodorizing calcium carbonate by adding dialkylamino-2- butenyl sulfonate and allylamide to aqueous suspension of precipitated calcium carbonate while stirring the aq. suspension, adsorbing the added materials to the surface of the precipitated calcium carbonate, then dehydrating, drying, and crushing the suspended material. n CONSTITUTION: Aq. soln. of 0.1W1g mixture of dialkylamino-2-butenyl sulfonate and same amt. of allylamine per 1kg CaCO 3 is added to aq. suspension of precipitated fine CaCO 3 obtd. by blowing gaseous CO 2 into milky liquid of Ca(OH) 2 , or to a suspension of precipitated CaCO 3 obtd. as described above and treating further with a surface active agent such as fatty acid soap, resin acid soap, etc., and stirring the mixture. Dialkylamino-2-butenyl sulfonate having sulfonate having deodorizing effect is adsorbed to the surface of CaCO 3 . The aq. suspension is dried after it is dehydrated, and deodorizing CaCO 3 is prepd. by crushing the dried product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
