PURPOSE:To provide a cosmetic having low skin irritation, giving moderate scrubbing effect and massaging effect, having excellent affinity to the sebum on the skin, high adsorptivity and excellent stability, by compounding a spherical material composed of hydrogenated jojoba oil as a scrubbing agent. CONSTITUTION:Spherical particles of hydrogenated jojoba oil composed preferably of a 16-24C higher fatty acid and a 16-24C higher alcohol and having a melting point of 50-75 deg.C, iodine value of <=20.0 and average particle diameter of 100-2,000mu is used as a scrubbing agent and compounded in an amount of 0.5-20wt% to various cosmetics such as cleansing cream, cold cream, cream pack, facial wash, etc. Since the hydrogenated jojoba oil has truely spherical form having sufficiently high strength to resist the collapse on the skin with finger and palm, the above effect can be attained without causing strong stimulation to the skin. A cosmetic having excellent affinity and stability can be produced because it contains the hydrogenated jojobal oil as oily additive. |
