abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I(X is lower alkyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, lower alkoxy, or nitro; n is 1 or 2). n USE: A herbicide. Widely usable for cultivated lands for paddy rice plant, various grains, vegetables, etc., fruit garden, lawn land, 1 pasture, etc., providing main crops with no phytotoxicity, being safe. n PREPARATION: A substituted aniline shown by the formula II is reacted with 1-cyclohexenylacetic acid shown by the formula III or its reactive derivative (e.g., acid anhydride, etc.), to give cyclohexenylacetamide derivative shown by the formula I.
