abstract | PURPOSE: The reaction of an N-phenylguanidine derivative and a substituted methylenemalonic acid diester derivative enable the production of the titled substance which is used in prevention and treatment for allergic asthma, dermatitis, rhinitis and conjunctivitis with industrial advantage. n CONSTITUTION: The reaction of a compound of formula I (R 1 , R 2 are H, alkyl, OH, CF 3 , NO 2 with another compound of formula II (X is alkoxy, dialkylamino; R is alkyl) is carried out in an inert solvent such as ethanol, dioxane or benzene at 80W200°C for 30minW48hr to give a compound of formula III.
