titleOfInvention Electrophotographic sensitive body
abstract PURPOSE:To improve the durability and sensitivity by successively laminating a charge transferring layer and a charge generating layer on a support, reducing the weight ratio of a charge generating material to a binder, and forming the charge generating layer by a spray coating method. CONSTITUTION:A charge transferring layer contg. a charge transferring material such as N-ethylcarbazole and a binder such as polyacrylate resin is formed on an electrically conductive support of Al or the like. A charge generating layer contg. a charge generating material (A) such as phthalocyanine pigment or trisazo pigment and a binder (B) in 15/<=10 weight ratio of A/B is formed on the charge transferring layer by a spray coating method to obtain the desired electrophotographic sensitive body. The physical strength of the surface of the sensitive body is increased without reducing the sensitivity or deteriorating the photomemory, and the shaving of the photosensitive layer during continuous use can be reduced.
