titleOfInvention First agent for permanent wave
abstract PURPOSE:The first agent for permanent wave having a low bad smell, stability, providing the hair with neither damage nor feeding of physical disorder, obtained by blending thiolactic acid of a reducing agent with a specific animal protein hydrolyzate and its derivative. CONSTITUTION:1-12wt% thiolactic acid shown by the formula I is blended with 0.1-5wt% at least one of animal protein hydrolyzates shown by the formula II (R1 is side chain of amino acid constituting animal protein hydrolyzate; n is 3-20 integer), formula III (R2 is 8-20C alkyl, or alkenyl; M is H, Na, ammonia, etc.), and formula IV and its derivative. Occurrence of damage and feeling of physical disorder caused by thiolactic acid is prevented by the compound shown by the formula II-formula IV while making improves reducing action of thiolactic acid act on permanent wave formation.
