titleOfInvention Method of bundling yarn of melting spinning
abstract PURPOSE: To reduce nonuniformity of cold drawing caused by air resistance of multifilament yarn which is not easily bundled right under a solidifying point, by bundling the yarn of thermoplastic polymer at a position within 1 meter from the solidifying point of the polymer only in the direction of cold air flow. n CONSTITUTION: In subjecting a thermoplastic polymer such a poloyethylene terephthalate, etc., bundling of yarn of melt spinning is carried out by collecting yarn at a position within 1 meter from the solidifying point of the extruded yarn only in the direction of cold air flow while providing the yarn preferably with a finishing oil or water. The Preferably the extruded yarn has ≤1 denier degree of fineness of single filament, ≥70 filaments extruded from one spinneret and ≥3,000m/min draw velocity of the first godet roller. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
