titleOfInvention Shrinkage controlling agent and low-shrinkage thermosetting resin composition
abstract PURPOSE:To provide a shrinkage controlling agent having an excellent effect of inhibiting shrinkage, containing, as an active ingredient, a polycaprolactone contg. an allylic double bond and a hydroxyl group at its terminals obtd. by ring-opening polyaddition of epsilon-caprolactone to the hydroxyl group of allyl alcohol. CONSTITUTION:A polycaprolactone contg. an allylic double bond and a hydroxyl group at its terminals is prepd. by ring-opening polyaddition of epsilon-caprolactone to the hydroxyl group of allyl alcohol. The polycaprolactone has an excellent effect of inhibiting shrinkage. 5-200pts.wt. said polycaprolactone, 30-80pts.wt. unsaturated polyester resin, 70-20pts.wt. ethylenically unsaturated monomer (e.g. styrene or ethyl acrylate), 40-400pts.wt. inorg. filler (e.g. silica), 10-200pts.wt. reinforcing agent (e.g. glass fiber) and 0.1-5pts.wt. polymn. initiator are mixed together to obtain a low-shrinkage thermosetting resin compsn.
