titleOfInvention Treatment of exhaust gas
abstract PURPOSE: To miniaturize an apparatus and to enhance denitration efficiency, in a method for treating exhaust gas, by contacting exhaust gas, in which NH 3 was injected, with an activated carbon moving bed and injecting NH 3 in an adsorbing bed while controlling an injection amount by changing the height. n CONSTITUTION: Gas containing SO x and NO x enters an adsorbing tower 1 from an exhaust gas line 2 as shown by the arrow 17 and NH 3 -gas is supplied from an injection line 4 and contacted with activated carbon flowed down from a supply line 11 in the adsorbing tower 1 to simultaneously perform desulfurization and denitration while the gas is exhausted from an exhaust gas line 3. NH 3 - injection lines 5, 6, 7, of which the NH 3 -injection positions made higher toward the upstream side, are provided in the adsorbing tower 1 and the detection signal from the detector 15 of a SO x /NO x detection line 18 and that from the flow amount detector 14 of the injection line are inputted to an operator 16 and a flow amount regulation valve 13 is controlled by said signals to inject an optimum amount of NH 3 . n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
