titleOfInvention Monoclonal antibody and reagent for detecting cancer antigen
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody specifically reacting with antigens concerned with pancreatic cancer, cancer of intestinum crassum and liver cancer, which cancer-related antigens have following properties; these are glycoproteins of 700,000W1,500,000mol.wt., have a maximum absorbance within 221W222nm and 262W264nm range when dissolved in 0.1M acetic acid buffer solution (pH4.5) and are released in a supernatant fluid of culture of an established cancer cell of at least Colo-201, TE-1W4, NRC-12, MKN-45. n USE: A diagnostic agent for cancer. n PREPARATION: For example, established colic cancer cells are crushed and centrifuged, and the resultant supernatant thereof is used to immunize a mouse. Then the spleen is taken out, and the spleen cell is fused with a myeloma cell. Then the resultant hybridoma is monocloned by such as limitingdilution method, injected and cultured in the abdominal cavity of mouse, and the abdominal dropsy is taken out and purified to obtain the monoclonal antibody. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
