titleOfInvention Synthetic paper for non-impact printer
abstract PURPOSE:To enable the use of the titled synthetic paper as a production control table or commodity label, by employing a polyester fiber excellent in water resistance, heat resistance and thermal dimensional stability as a main component and forming the same into web along with a fine denier fiber in a blended state by a wet papermaking process while applying calender processing to the formed web. CONSTITUTION:A mixture consisting of 69.5-30wt% of a polyester stable fiber with monofilament finess of 0.3-6.0 denier, a fiber length of 3.0-20.0mm. and double refraction of 0.06 or more, 30-60wt% of a polyester fiber with fineness of 0.3-6.0 denier, a fiber length of 3.0-20.0mm. and double refraction of 0.3 or less and 0.5-10wt% of wood pulp is formed into a web by a wet papermaking process and calender processing is applied to said web under line pressure of 20-200kg/cm by using heating rollers with temp. of 180-240 deg.C. Thus obtained synthetic paper is not deteriorated by wetting or direct exposure to solar rays and has high temp. dimensional stability and excellent in sharpness of printing and durability by a non-impact printer.
