titleOfInvention Production of porous membrane of polyamino acid urethane resin
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a porous membrane having high moisture permeability and suitable as artificial leather, etc., keeping high hydraulic pressure resistance, by preparing a polyamino acid urethane resin liquid in a solvent composed mainly of dimethylformamide, mixing an aromatic urethane resin to the liquid, and forming the mixture in the form of a membrane. n CONSTITUTION: A polyamino acid urethane resin liquid is prepared by reacting (A) an α-amino acid N-carboxylic acid anhydride composed mainly of an optically active γ-alkyl glutamate N-carboxylic acid anhydride with (B) water and (C) hydrazine or an organic amine having active hydrogen (e.g. ethylenediamine) in a solvent containing ≥50(wt)%, preferably ≥70% dimethylformamide. The resin liquid is mixed with an aromatic urethane resin, and the mixture is formed in the form of a membrane by wet process. The amount of the aromatic urethane resin is 1W50%, preferably 5W35% based on the polyamino acid component in the resin liquid, in terms of urethane resin. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
