titleOfInvention Treatment of silver halide photosensitive material for x-ray
abstract PURPOSE: To enable the automatic development of an photosensitive material for X-ray for a long period by using an alkaline monochromic developing soln. contg. a specified chelating agent together with hydroquinone, a pyrazolidone type developing agent, a dialdehyde type hardener, and an antifoggant. n CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photosensitive material for X-ray is developed by using the alkaline monochromic developing soln. contg. at least one chelating agent selected from a group of diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid, triethylenetetraamine hexaacetic acid, 1,3-diamino-2-propanol-tetraacetic acid, ethylenediaminetetramethylenephosphonic acid, aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid, and their alkali metal salts; together with hydroquinone, a 3-pyrazolidone type developing agent, a dialdehyde type hardener, at least one of antifoggants of indazole type, benzimidazole type, and benztriazole type. As a result, precipitations of insoluble Ca salt, etc. are prevented, the stability of development is enhanced, thus permitting continuous automatic development to retain high quality photographic performance for a long term. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
