titleOfInvention Ultraviolet curing coating composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by dissolving dipentaerythritol pentaacrylate, etc. and a photopolymerization initiator in an organic solvent, and capable of improving the printability and surface hardness by application to the surface of a PET film. n CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet curing coating composition, obtained by dissolving (A) 100pts.wt. polyfunctional acrylate, dipentaerythritol pentaacrylate or/and dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate and (B) 1W10pts.wt. one of a photopolymerization initiator, e.g. benzoin alkyl ether, benzyl ketal or acetophenone, or a mixture thereof in an organic solvent, e.g. ethyl acetate, cellosolve or xylene, and having 5W50wt% solid concentration. The resultant composition is then applied to a PET film by a method using a brush, roller or dipping, etc., and the solvent is then volatilized, and irradiated with ultraviolet rays at 200W300nm to form a transparent and uniform film on the surface of the PET film. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
