abstract | NEW MATERIAL:A piperidino-propane or piperidino-propanol derivative expressed by formula I (A is expressed by formula II or III; R is H or benzyl, provided that R is benzyl when A is expressed by formula III) and an acid addition salt thereof. n EXAMPLE: 2-(4-Benzyl-Δ 3 -piperidino)-1-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)-1-propanone. n USE: A synthetic intermediate for dl-erythro-2-(4-benzylpiperidino)-1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-propanol and other compounds useful for improving sequelae of cerebral angiopathy, e.g. symptoms involved in sequelae of cerebral infarction, or sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage such as subjective symptoms, e.g. giddiness, headache or dispirit, and mental symptoms such as depression, anxiety or excitement. n PREPARATION: A 4-substituted-α-bromopropiophenone expressed by formula IV is reacted with 4-benzyl-1,2,5,6-tetrahydropyridine expressed by formula V to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
