titleOfInvention Production of porous sheet having improved
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a porous sheet resembling leather, having improved smoothness, by carrying out wet coagulation in a coagulating bath to which an adduct of a specific compound with ethylene oxide is added. n CONSTITUTION: A fibrous base material is impregnated with ether type or ether ester type polyurethane, and subjected to wet coagulation to give a porous sheet. In the operation, 0.01W1wt% based on a coagulating solution of an adduct of a compound selected from a group consisting of a higher alkylamine (e.g., octylamine, etc.), higher alcohol, sorbitan fatty acid ester, fatty acid, fatty acid amide, and alkylphenol with ethylene oxide is added to the coagulating bath, and it is subjected to wet coagulation. The leather-like sheet obtained by this method has improved smoothness, feeling, flexing resistance, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
