titleOfInvention Thermosetting composition
abstract PURPOSE:A thermosetting composition having a high curing rate, excellent heat resistance and a large economic effect, prepared by adding a p- or m-aminobenzylamine to an epoxy resin mixture of an epoxy resin having at least three epoxy groups in the molecule and one having at most two epoxy groups. CONSTITUTION:The desired thermosetting composition is obtained by adding p- aminobenzylamine or both of p- and m-aminobenzylamines to an epoxy resin mixture of 100-30wt% epoxy resin having at least three epoxy groups in the molecule and 0-70wt% epoxy resin having at most two epoxy groups in the molecule. Examples of the epoxy resins used in this reaction include amine-type, phenol-type, alcohol-derived, and urethane-derived epoxy resins. These resins may be used alone or as a mixture.
