titleOfInvention Method of preventing contamination of cooling water system of power station
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the titled contamination, by using a specific antifouling coating agent, applying the agent to faces of devices and constructions of cooling water system of power station using sea water, wherein the faces are brought into contact with sea water, preventing completely attachment of organisms to the faces caused by deficiency of elution of antifouling agent when the faces are initially immersed in sea water. n CONSTITUTION: Devices and constructions of cooling water system of power station are coated with an antifouling coating agent which is usually 10W80wt.% solution of a colorless, light yellow or yellowish brown viscous liquid N-coordinated organotin copolymer obtained by coordinating copolymer of a polymerizable monomer selected from an acrylic compound, a functional group-containing vinyl compound, and a vinylhydrocarbon and a vinylpyrrolidone compound with a triorganotin compound shown by the formula (R 1 WR 3 are 1W8C alkyl, or phenyl; X is inorganic or organic acid residue, S, or O). n EFFECT: The antifouling coating compound can prevent contamination in a long priod from the initial sea water contact of antifouling coated film to disappearance of coated film, operation of powder station can be carried out smoothly and economically, and pollution can be prevented effectively. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio
