titleOfInvention | Electrostatic recording body |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic recording body prevented from bleeding in low-speed copying, and adverse side effect, such as lowering of image density in ordinary speed, by using a copolymer composed essentially of a specified resin as a principal component of an insulating resin for forming a recording layer formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The copolymer is compsed essentially of at least one selected from each of two groups of A; methyl methacrylate, ethyl ethacrylate, and t-butyl methacrylate, and B; glycidyl methacrylate and glycidyl acrylate, and it is used as a principal component of the insulating resin of the recording layer formed on the conductive substrate. The polymn. ratio of B/(A+B) is controlled to >=2%, and the glass transition point of the copolymer is set to 40-100 deg.C. This electrostatic recording body is obtained, e.g., by forming a conductive layer 2, such as polymer of ammonium styrenesulfonate or tin oxide, and the recording layer 3 contg. the resin 4 and a pigment 5 on the surface of a base 1, such as plain paper or polyester film. As a result, this electrostatic recording body is prevented from bleeding even at the time of low-speed development, and high image density can be obtained. |
