titleOfInvention Manufacture of slip-proof projections in doormat
abstract PURPOSE:To enable to form a large number of projections, which are essential for slip-proofing, onto the bottom of a mat by a method wherein plasticizer prepared by mixing plastisol with DOP (dioctyl phthalate), paraffin or mineral oil base diluent or the like at a ratio of 1:1 is sprayed so as to adhere to receiving holes. CONSTITUTION:In a process of molding a doormat, onto the front surface side of which flocked carpet 6 is fixed by solvent welding by heat-treating plastisol, plasticizer (a), which forms a mat main body 4 and is prepared by mixing plastisol with DOP (dioctyl phthalate), paraffin or mineral oil base diluent or the like at a ratio of 1:1, is sprayed so as to adhere to receiving holes and their vicinities in order to improve the compatibility between the receiving hole 3 and sol solvent. According to the above-mentioned technique, the plastisol is smoothly packed in the receiving holes 3 formed on the bottom part 2 of a mold in order to integrally mold slip-proof projections 5 on the rear surface side of a mat 4, onto the surface of which the carpet 6 is solvent-welded.
