titleOfInvention | Polyester fiber |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the titled fiber composed of a polyester having a specific polymerization degree and containing ethylene terephthalate as main constituent unit, containing amorphous part and crystalline part in a specific state, suitable for industrial materials and having high fatigue resistance, drawability and strength and low shrinkage. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester containing ethylene terephthalate as main recurring unit and having an intrinsic viscosity of ≥0.9 is spun in molten state under the condition to give a yarn having a fineness of 1W20de and a total denier of 500W2,000 after drawing. The spun fiber is immediately solidified by quenching, oiled with a lubricant and taken up at a take-up speed of ≥3,000m/min. The objective fiber obtained by the above process has thermal stress peaks at 100W180°C and 180°C in a thermal stress curve, the thermal stress in the former temperature range of ≤0.05g/de, a thermal shrinkage of ≤2.5% at 210°C and a crystallite volume of ≥4.5×10 5 Å 3 . n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
