titleOfInvention | Slow-releasing medicinal preparation for oral administration |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the titled medicinal preparation composed of a mixture containing a cellulose lower alkyl ether, polyacrylic acid, a foaming agent and a drug component, releasing the drug component slowly in the stomach and supplying the drug component at a concentration sufficiently high to attain the remedying effect for a long period. n CONSTITUTION: The objective medicinal preparation can be produced preferably by mixing (A) 10pts. of a cellulose lower alkyl ether, (B) 0.1W1,000pts.wt. of polyacrylic acid or its salt and (C) 1W40pts.wt. (based on 10pts.wt. of A+B) of a foaming agent. The component A is preferably a compound having a viscosity of 3W10,000cps and 2% aqueous solution at 20°C, and the foaming agent is a carbonate, a bicarbonate, etc. The agent can be retained in the stomach in suspending and floating granular state even if administered in the form of tablet, not to speak of powder and granule, and slowly releases the drug component. It can be produced easily. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
