abstract PURPOSE: To provide an oil-adsorbing granule which has excellent oil-adsorbing properties and can be simply regenerated for reuse, by granulating a mixture of a fine inorg. powder contg. clay and an org. binder, drying the granule and incorporating a water-repellent lipophilic agent therein. n CONSTITUTION: A fine inorg. powder contg. clay (e.g. a mixture of clay and fly ash), a small quantity of an org. binder (e.g. an aq.
