abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent adhesion and gives a pattern having excellent mechanical strength, durability and resistance to water and chemicals, containing a graft copolymer and a monomer contg. an ethylenically unsaturated bond. CONSTITUTION:20-80pts.wt. graft copolymer (A) obtd. by grafting a branched chain mainly composed of a structural unit derived from a monomer such as an OH group-contg. monomer (a), an (alkyl)amino group-contg. acrylic monomer (b), a COOH group-contg. acrylic or vinyl monomer (c), an N-pyrrolidone (derivative) (d), vinylpyridine (e) or an acrylamide derivative (f) of the formula [wherein R<1> is H, a 1-3C (hydroxy)alkyl ; R<2> is H, (OH-substd.) alkyl, acyl] onto a backbone chain mainly composed of a structural unit derived from at least one monomer selected from among alkyl methacrylates, acrylonitrile and styrene, 80-20pts.wt. ethylenically unsaturated monomer (B) and optionally 0.1-20wt% (per 100pts.wt. of the combined quantity of components A and B) photopolymerization initiator (C) are blended together.
