titleOfInvention Silver halide photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and to prevent fog by forming a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a combination of 2 kinds of sensitizing dyes represented by specified formulae on a support to form a photographic sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide photographic sensitive material is formed by laminating on the support a silver halide emulsion layer contg. one of the sensitizing dyes represented by formulae I, and one of the sensitizing dyes represented by formula II and III, and in these formulae I, II, and III, each of Z1, Z2 is a pyrroline ring or pyriding ring or the like; each of R1, R2 is an aliphatic group X<->1 is a acid anion; n is 1 or 2; each of R3, R4 is H, alkyl, or aryl; each of R5, R11 is linked to a quternary ammonium; each of R7, R8, R9 is halogen, alkyl, aryl, or the like; each of R6, R10 is alkyl aralkyl, or the like; Y<-> is a counter ion: each of R3, R4, R5, R6 is same in either of formulae II and III, respectively; and each of R12, R13, R14 is alkyl or the like.
