PURPOSE: To provide the titled film composed of a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component, exhibiting specific reduced viscosity and differential thermal analysis results, and giving a hot-melt adhesive suitable for the lamination of metallic plates, production of retort pouch, lamination of metallic foil and cardboard, etc. n CONSTITUTION: The objective film can be produced by (1) copolymerizing (A) a dicarboxylic acid component containing terephthalic acid as ≥85mol% thereof with (B) a glycol component composed of (i) 65W97mol% 1,4-butanediol and (ii) 3W35mol% polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 106W550 to obtain a polymer having a reduced viscosity of 0.8W1.4dl/g, and (2) heat-treating the polymer after forming to a film. The main endothermic peak of the film in a differetial thermal analysis is present within the range of 160W200°C, the subsidiary endothermic peak is present within the range of 30W80°C and the areal ratio of the subsidiary peak of ≥40°C to the main peak is 3W20%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1986,JPO&Japio |
