abstract PURPOSE: A reactive oligomer, containing specific acylurethane groups, and having a specific molecular weight and high reactivity and radically polymerizable readily even at low temperatures in the absence of a catalyst and suitable for particularly resin components in coating compositions. n CONSTITUTION: A radically polymerizable reactive oligomer, obtained by reacting a polyhydroxy compound having preferably ≥2 hydroxyl groups, e.g. polyethylene glycol, with an acyl isocyanate expressed by formula I (R is H or lower alkyl), e.g. acryloyl isocyanate and containing ≥2 acylurethane groups expressed by formula II and having ≤50,000 molecular weight.
